This year for May Day we will be celebrating nettles! 
Join us to celebrate the common stinging nettle - find out how they are beneficial to our health, about the wildlife they support, and how they can be used to make clothes, beer and more! 

There will be herb walks, talks and workshops, where you'll find out about the health benefits of nettles, how they can be used to make clothing, how to cook with nettles and how to make nettle beer! As well as local community groups' stalls, art and crafts workshops and a garden nature trail for children, cob oven pizzas, a climbing rope maypole, music*, and a May Day bonfire!

*Acoustic corner: bring an instrument along (or sing), share a song or have a jam.
