Why Us?

The Castle is an iconic London landmark and one of Europe’s largest independent climbing facilities. Originally a Victorian pumping station, The Castle has been reimagined as a world-class climbing centre, believe it when you see it! With a unique heritage and expert facilitators, we provide both the environment and the expertise for hugely engaging and fun activities to make the learning stick. We boast 450 climbing routes spread across four floors, 330 bouldering circuits and an outdoor area with our three giant manmade boulders. At The Castle we also provide a gym and training area and a yoga and pilates studio and these are all on offer when planning and creating our bespoke Corporate Programmes.

Our instructors

We work with confidence building, nationally qualified instructors trained across all climbing disciplines, including bouldering, lead climbing, top-rope, and adaptive climbing. They provide professional guidance for all skill levels, ensuring safety while helping climbers progress with confidence.

Our qualified facilitators and executive coaches are experts in organisational development, EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion), early careers, team dynamics, and leadership. Our courses apply proven learning and development theories—such as Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle, Whitmores GROW model, Tuckman’s Team Development Model, and Hersey & Blanchard’s Situational Leadership.
