E-Gift Card Terms & Conditions

  1. Issuer
    E-Gift Cards (“E-Gift Cards”) are issued by The Castle Climbing Centre, High Performance Sports Ltd., registered in England and Wales with company number 02839366 and registered office at The Castle Climbing Centre, Green Lanes, N4 2HA (“we”, “us”, “our”).
  2. Acceptance of Terms
    By purchasing, using, or accepting a E-Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  3. Delivery of E-Gift Cards
    E-Gift Cards are delivered electronically by email to the email address provided at the time of purchase. While delivery is usually immediate or within a short time, delays may occur due to payment authorisation, fraud screening, or technical issues. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the recipient’s email address is entered correctly. We are not responsible if an E-Gift Card is delivered to an incorrect email address supplied by the purchaser. Recipients should check their spam or junk folders if the email is not received.
  4. Where Gift Cards Can Be Used
    E-Gift Cards may be redeemed for goods or services at The Castle Climbing Centre, Green Lanes, N4 2HA operated by us in the United Kingdom. E-Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards unless expressly stated.
  5. Expiry
    E-Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated via email communications. Any remaining balance after the expiry date will no longer be available for use. Extension requests can be made to info@castle-climbing.co.uk to be reviewed by Reception Team Lead on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantee that the request will be accepted.
  6. Using Your E-Gift Card
    E-Gift Cards may be redeemed by entering the unique code provided in the email at checkout or presenting the code where accepted.
    • E-Gift Cards may be used for full or partial payment of goods or services at the Castle Climbing Centre or The Castle Shop, Green Lanes, N4 2HA.
    • If the value of a purchase exceeds the balance on the E-Gift Card, the difference must be paid using another accepted payment method.
    • If the purchase value is less than the balance of the E-Gift Card, the remaining balance will remain available until expiry.
  7. E-Gift Card Balance
    You may check your E-Gift Card balance via The Castle Climbing Centre app / contacting reception on 020 8211 7000 or info@castle-climbing.co.uk / visiting us at The Castle Climbing Centre.
  8. Cash Redemption
    E-Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, except where required by applicable law.
  9. Lost, Deleted, or Stolen E-Gift Cards
    E-Gift Cards should be treated like cash. We are not responsible for E-Gift Cards that are lost, deleted, stolen, or used without permission once they have been delivered to the email address provided at the time of purchase. Replacement may be issued at our discretion where proof of purchase is available, and the E-Gift Card has not been redeemed.
  10. Cancellation and Refunds
    Where an E-Gift Card is purchased online, the purchaser may have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 before the E-Gift Card has been redeemed. Once an E-Gift Card has been redeemed in full or in part, it cannot be cancelled or refunded except where required by law.
  11. Fraud and Misuse
    We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or invalidate E-Gift Cards if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, unauthorised activity, or a breach of these Terms & Conditions. We may also suspend or cancel E-Gift Cards obtained through fraudulent payment methods or transactions that are later reversed (for example, through a payment chargeback).
  12. Liability
    Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Subject to the above, we shall not be responsible for any loss arising from the loss, deletion, unauthorised access, or misuse of an E-Gift Card after delivery.
  13. Changes to Terms
    We may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time where reasonably necessary. The latest version will be available on our website
