Your one-stop climbing shop inside the largest climbing wall in London!

The Castle Shop has everything a climber could need. It’s climbing gear heaven, where you buy climbing equipment in London with a huge range of choice and friendly, knowledgeable shop team to help guide you. This is a shop run by climbers, for climbers, and our staff aren’t just knowledgeable about the kit – they’ve got first-hand experience of when they’ve tried and tested it themselves.

Whether you’re new to climbing and need some advice on the essentials, or an experienced climber hunting for something seriously specialist, our friendly and experienced shop team will be able to help.

Did you know? We offer a special Starter Pack for new climbers. This discounted climbing package includes a harness and any belay set to get you started in style. 

Hire Kit

You can also hire gear from our shop for your visit, with the only item not available to hire being rope for our lead climbing walls. For this you will need to bring your own rope.

PLUS! Heading outdoors? We offer external hire for outdoor climbing trips too. You can rent out harnesses, shoes, and belay sets at a per-day rate. You can also hire boulder pads for £10 per day. A refundable deposit of £40 for gear, £150 for pads is applicable.

We work really hard to ensure everything we stock is planet friendly as far as possible. All brands are checked for their sustainability policy, we choose organic and fairtrade cottons whenever we can, and Bluesign textile policy to make sure the gear we sell does as little damage to the environment all the way through the process as far as possible.
