We’re hiring a part-time staff member to join our lively front of house team. This will be for a minimum of 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and the possibility to pick up more hours if desired. This is a varied role with work based in the reception team, the shop and café. We will offer training for each area but a friendly attitude and customer-serviced focussed approach are a must!
You’ll need to be a friendly, computer literate individual with previous experience in customer service roles. A high standard of written and spoken English is essential.
Facilitating the entry of our customers, in line with the Castles’ health and safety policies
Answering customer queries by phone, email and in person
Administration of our customer database and bookings systems
Provide excellent customer service to hungry climbers. This will include food and drink handling
Provide customers with advice and facilitate the sale of climbing equipment
Working with the Duty Managers and colleagues to ensure a safe and friendly working environment for our customers and staff
Collaborating with, and occasionally working in other front of house departments
