I first met Nathan a few years ago at Millstone in the Peak District.
He was with his friend Oli Lyon psyched to get some jamming and aid practise in for a trip to Yosemite. They both were hooked on the place. Since that day he’s made numerous trips to Yosemite to climb the walls there which guarantee fun, games and an adventure.
Last November he came into the shop to ask about getting a porta-ledge for some solo plans. It sounded like a great trip so I ordered one in straight away.

“For me, La Sportiva are the only climbing shoe brand that matter. The designs are funky and wacky, the shoe comfortable and the rubber is precise and ideal for all kinds of wall; slab or overhanging. I made my first Youth Climbing Series (YCS) finals in a pair of Katana’s and climbed my first 8a in Futuras. I have tried many other shoes: Five Ten, Scarpa, Evolv but none of them have performed as well for me as La Sportiva.”

~~Old next to new. Five Ten have re-launched the Anasazi Lace-Up 'The Pink'. We have just had a delivery today. From Five Ten - You probably know someone who has stockpiled the Lace-up in anticipation of a chance on "To Bolt or Not to Be". To help out, we made the classic shoe even better. STEALTH C4 toe rand, new heel construction, and a lined Cowdura™ synthetic upper that fits like a glove, all provide the familiar, secure and reliable fit, climb after climb.

A photo of the North West Highlands of Scotland which is a great place to winter climb. This is of A'Cioch Ridge on Beinn Bhan. A nice break from the hecticness of London!
