Gimme Kraft is the new training bible from the trainers & coach of Alex Megos, the new wonder kid to emerge out of Germany with the first on-sight of the grade French 9a. Megos is a testament to the effectiveness of a consistent scientific approach to climbing training.
Five Ten and DMM are running a demo eveing on Tuesday 3rd September, the highlight of the evening will be a free coaching sessions from Shauna Coxsey. There will be two sessions for ten people on each from 7-8pm and from 8.30-9.30pm. You need to sign up on the evening for this.

Climbing winter routes in the UK has given me some of my most memorable and enjoyable days out climbing, however being based in London means I like to make sure that routes are ‘in’ before I make the long and expensive drive north. Fortunately in recent years this has become a lot easier because of the great resources available on the internet. I have put together some of those resources that I have found to be invaluable.
Despite memory being a fickle thing, some climbs live long in our memories. They are moments so powerful that they remain recognisable in our minds forever. They are the rites of passage that make us into the climbers that we are, and into the climbers that we’ll become. It may be our first climb, disorienting and fumbling or breaking into a new grade; it may be pushing our limit or taking that first big leader fall; or it may be ticking all the classics at our favourite crag or aspiring to the next challenge.
