Following on from this weekend's press conference, sadly it looks like the Castle will be closing our doors from Thursday 5th November for one month as we go into national lockdown.
We wanted to update you about about your Access Pass, your Punch Cards, or your pre-paid membership during the national lockdown and what this means for you.
Please Note: ALL passes and punches remain active and valid whilst the centre is open. Any pre-booked climbing sessions up to and including Wednesday 4th November are still subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Book to Climb
Bookings made up until and including Wednesday 4th remain valid and are subject to our normal T&Cs for cancellation.
If you have a forward booking for Thursday 5th November or after for a Single Visit climbing slot, you will be refunded.
If you're booked onto a Climbing Course, we will contact you directly this week about your booking. We will arrange a credit note against your account or a refund as you prefer.
We have a high volume of enquiries, please hold off contacting us for individual bookings if possible whilst we work through the enquiries.
Access Passes remain active while the Centre is open and your bookings up until and including Wednesday 4th November are still subject to our Terms & Conditions.
All Access Passes will be prorated so you will not pay for any time the Centre is closed. You will be charged from Sunday 1st to Wednesday 4th November.
As the 1st of November falls on a Sunday you will be billed Monday 2nd November. If you have used your Pass this month (Sunday 1st) you will be charged.
If you have a Standard Access Pass this will be: £6
And for concession / U18 Passes: £4
You can still attend slots you have already booked and continue to book slots up until (and including) Wednesday 4th Nov using your Access Pass as usual.
When we reopen we will restart payments. Again, this will be prorated so you only pay for the time the Centre is open. The government are currently saying lockdown will end 2nd Dec so if this is the case you will be billed only for 2nd – 31st December.
If you do not wish to restart payments when the Centre reopened you MUST cancel using the Membership Change Request Form or by emailing us. If you do not cancel your payment will be taken when we reopen and you can book to climb straight away.
If you have an Annual pre-paid membership purchased before the 23rd March 2020, this will be frozen, as in the previous lockdown, and reinstated when we reopen.
If you have a Punch Card, this will automatically be extended by the amount of time we are closed, whether it is an adult or a child punch card.
