So I put myself in the firing line yesterday with an open feedback session about all things Castle-related. I really appreciated being able to discuss the points raised in a constructive way. I felt that, on the whole, it was pretty productive. There were some good ideas that came out of it, which we’ll be implementing over the next few months. In fact, I thought it was so worthwhile that I’m going to do it again. So if you have something to say, make sure that you stop by on Thursday the 21st of May from 6pm to 9pm.

We will soon be moving the bike park to a dedicated space outside the building next to our favourite bike workshop. Many of you have already been using the railings around here to park your bikes anyway, so you’ll be pleased to know that we’re getting over 100 spaces. Evolv rock shoes will be holding a boot demo on Tuesday 18th November at the Castle. The shop will also be running a 20% discount on Evolv shoes if purchased on the night. It's a great opportunity to try out Evolv shoes to see if they suit your feet.

This is a write up of the Cuillin Ridge which I did in September 2014. I've put together a PDF download which contains some useful hints and tips on how to get the most of your trip and the climbing gear and other equipment that you might need for the traverse.
Above is the first part of the ridge approaching the TD Gap and Sgurr Alasdair.
