I first met Nathan a few years ago at Millstone in the Peak District.
He was with his friend Oli Lyon psyched to get some jamming and aid practise in for a trip to Yosemite. They both were hooked on the place. Since that day he’s made numerous trips to Yosemite to climb the walls there which guarantee fun, games and an adventure.
Last November he came into the shop to ask about getting a porta-ledge for some solo plans. It sounded like a great trip so I ordered one in straight away.

“For me, La Sportiva are the only climbing shoe brand that matter. The designs are funky and wacky, the shoe comfortable and the rubber is precise and ideal for all kinds of wall; slab or overhanging. I made my first Youth Climbing Series (YCS) finals in a pair of Katana’s and climbed my first 8a in Futuras. I have tried many other shoes: Five Ten, Scarpa, Evolv but none of them have performed as well for me as La Sportiva.”
