Round 2 of the Paraclimbing Series will take place here on Tuesday 17th October.
Open to all aspiring paraclimbers, the BMC and Climb Scotland Paraclimbing Series is a friendly competition aimed at giving people an authentic competitive experience. This series is organised by the BMC, Climb Scotland, Manchester Climbing Centre, Newcastle Climbing Centre, Edinburgh International Climbing Arena and the Castle Climbing Centre, London.
The series will also act as a basis for talent identification and selection for the GB Paraclimbing Team.

There will be nine different categories – Male and Female:
Using Upper & Lower Limbs (any number) (Neurological Physical Disability)
Lower Body Amputation/Limbless
Upper Body Amputation/Limbless
Visual Impairment
Hearing Impairment
People with learning disabilities
Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties & Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Condition
Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Mental Health support needs
COMPETITION FORMAT
Competitors will have to climb three roped climbs and three boulder problems and will be given a score on each one dependant on height gained. The climber with the best score in each category will win.
