The Castle Café is looking for a temporary full time chef who is passionate about sustainable vegetarian/vegan food and will be excited about working with our existing kitchen team and our garden team to produce great value, healthy food for hungry climbers! 

You should:

  • Be an experienced chef used to working in a commercial kitchen
  • Be able to cook savoury dishes, bake cakes and flapjacks and prepare other food to a consistently high standard
  • Be flexible and creative in your cooking to make the most of our garden produce available 
  • Be able to work independently: planning menus, budgeting and ordering
  • Be able to communicate well with frontline staff, the garden team and management
  • Hold a level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Be able to work a share of weekends, 5 days /week
