What’s happening?
In June 2014 the Castle switched over to a new customer database known as Rock Gym Pro (RGP). At this time most of our customers will have completed a new registration form. 

From June 2017 we will be asking customers to complete their waiver again. Why? I hear you ask… as a service provider we have a duty of care to ensure that our customers using the facilities are considering their competence to take part in climbing - we can do this by the re-registration process every 3 years. 
The ABC (Association of British Climbing Walls) of which the Castle is an active member, recommend in their wall management guidance that registration documents are renewed every three years. 

It will also help to keep our customer database clean and updated and ensure that customer records are up to date. It will help us to make sure our customers have the correct membership type for the activity they are taking part in. 


What we’re doing:
We know in June that there will be a high number of customers who’s waiver will need to be re-completed, to combat this we will have extra staff on Reception at peak times and a dedicated desk for our pre-paid members. 


How you can help!
To speed up the process for you on arrival you can help. If you know you joined the castle 3 years ago please complete an Unsupervised Climbing and Bouldering Registration form online before coming to the centre. You will need to go to reception so that the team can attach this form to your customer file this will avoid any issues on later visits. It is very important that you see a member of the reception team. The process should only take a couple of minutes and then you will be able to start your session.

We hope to keep queuing times to a minimum but please do bear with us we will try to get you through reception and climbing as quickly as possible.
