Accounting Technician/Bookkeeping: Maternity Cover


We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accounting technician / Bookkeeper on a full time basis; for a Maternity Leave cover contract.

Working within a friendly team, you will be an integral part of the business, having direct responsibility for updating company accounts.

Duties will include:
Balancing accounts and ledgers,

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices, payments and PAYE wages,
  • Updating and running journals,
  • Preparing and distributing cash flow and financial report,
  • Assisting with annual budget and report on progress,
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing,
  • Administer daily takings and visit figures (update, distribute, and producing reports),
  • Managing Direct Debit database and liaison with customers.

If you:

  • Have exceptional attention to detail,
  • Are highly organized and can work well both within a team as independently
  • Have good knowledge of Excel and Xero (familiarity with RGP and Mandate beneficial)
