COMP WALL SETTING SCHEDULE

During the busy winter competition climbing season our Comp Wall gets used for a variety of different sets and events with lots of re-setting. Please make a note of the up and coming schedule.

17th February.  20 bloc short term re-fresh set.
GB team boulders removed and 20 fun blocs set between V0- and V7 a quick hit of new blocs to challenge yourself on. Tagged and graded.

2nd 3rd & 4th March. Comp wall stripped and setting taking place in preparation for Blokfest finals.
The Castle is hosting the finals of the Blokfest series and the comp wall gets used for the showcase finals and the fun qualification round on Saturday 5th March. Top talent will be on show during a spectacular finals show at 6pm on the Comp wall. Setting will take place from Thursday 3rd. 

Saturday 5th March. All bouldering closed to Non- Blokfest climbers.
The one day each year when the Castle hosts the biggest bouldering event in the U.K and the final of the series. An event open to all ages and abilities. A very friendly day with blocs set from the easiest VB ladders including special challenges, live Dj’s, showcase finals and the U.Ks first ZLAG Board (fingerboard) National Championships after party. Monday 7th March. La Sportiva 8 Walls event.
Comp wall complete 30 bloc re-set. A special League of Honour set for the Sportiva 8 walls event. Chilled evening includes free scorecards, prizes draws and Sportiva Boot demo.  Blocs numbered 1-30.

April onwards –
Comp wall re-set schedule continues as normal every 7 weeks with the League of Honour.
