In addition to climbing we offer two exhibit spaces along the main staircase for artists to display and sell their work. Exhibits change quarterly, so you’ll always see something new.

If you’d like to exhibit your work please contact Sophie@castle-climbing.co.uk

So I put myself in the firing line yesterday with an open feedback session about all things Castle-related.  I really appreciated being able to discuss the points raised in a constructive way.  I felt that, on the whole, it was pretty productive.  There were some good ideas that came out of it, which we’ll be implementing over the next few months. In fact, I thought it was so worthwhile that I’m going to do it again.  So if you have something to say, make sure that you stop by on Thursday the 21st of May from 6pm to 9pm.

We will soon be moving the bike park to a dedicated space outside the building next to our favourite bike workshop.  Many of you have already been using the railings around here to park your bikes anyway, so you’ll be pleased to know that we’re getting over 100 spaces.  Up to now, bikes had to be wheeled through the building to an outdoor section at the back.  We’ve changed this because we have other plans for that space including a much-needed workshop and route setting area.  I know that many cyclists are concerned about these changes.  I use my bike to get here every day (that's me in th

This 30 minute film follows Steve Taylor, CEO and the brains behind our holistic approach. He explains what we have achieved so far (up to 2013), including ethical procurement of goods, eco-friendly waste disposal, recycling, lighting, heating, and insulation.

This is a write up of the Cuillin Ridge which I did in September 2014. I've put together a PDF download which contains some useful hints and tips on how to get the most of your trip and the climbing gear and other equipment that you might need for the traverse.

Above is the first part of the ridge approaching the TD Gap and Sgurr Alasdair.

The Castle Shop is looking for enthusiastic, gear-obsessed climbers, with experience in retail, to help explain & sell our kit and caboodle.

All 6 of the Castle’s Competition Squad members have been training hard throughout 2014 to get the new competition season off to a flying start, and they certainly haven’t disappointed!

The competition squad has being going from strength to strength and if recent ascents and comp results are anything to go by we can expect a stellar season in 2015.
Below is brief round-up of what’s been going on over the summer.
