Kefaya are an eclectic group of immigrants, travellers and international artists, their music has been described as “internationalist music”, “guerrilla jazz”, “contemporary world-fusion”.
After tours across India, Italy and the UK, Kefaya are gaining a reputation for their virtuosic and mesmerising live performances. Their shows are a unique synthesis of musical styles, exploring the universal connections that allow artists around the world to develop a collective voice, whilst still paying homage to their distinct traditions and identities.
You can take a look at their official video here:
Along with the live performance, we will be selling beer and homemade focaccia courtesy of Donna Fugassa
Kefaya generously offered to perform a gig at The Castle for free after seeing our work raising funds and donations for the refugees in Calais. Although it is free entry, we have suggested a £5 donation for those that can afford it. All profits from entry, the bar and food will go towards providing support for refugees in Calais.
Please help us to help those who have been forced to flee their homes due to violence and war.
