The Castle Café is looking for a part-time chef who is passionate about sustainable vegetarian and vegan food and will be excited about working with our existing kitchen team and our garden team to produce great value, healthy food for hungry climbers!
Be an experienced chef used to working in a commercial kitchen
Be able to cook savoury dishes, bake cakes and flapjacks and prepare other food to a consistently high standard
Be flexible and creative in your cooking to make the most of our garden produce available
Be able to work independently: planning menus, budgeting and ordering
Be able to communicate well with frontline staff, the garden team and management
Hold a level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
Be able to work a share of weekends, 2/3 days a week
