The Castle Café is looking for a part-time chef who is passionate about sustainable vegetarian and vegan food and will be excited about working with our existing kitchen team and our garden team to produce great value, healthy food for hungry climbers!

You should:

  • Be an experienced chef used to working in a commercial kitchen
  • Be able to cook savoury dishes, bake cakes and flapjacks and prepare other food to a consistently high standard
  • Be flexible and creative in your cooking to make the most of our garden produce available
  • Be able to work independently: planning menus, budgeting and ordering
  • Be able to communicate well with frontline staff, the garden team and management
  • Hold a level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Be able to work a share of weekends, 2/3 days a week
