The Castle is launching its new N4 Mini Club to teach young children climbing skills in a fun and safe environment. The club, for 5 to 8 year olds, will be run on Saturday mornings by an experienced, qualified instructor with small group ratios of no more than six children per instructor. The sessions will use games to help children develop their coordination and balance and introduce them to climbing. We know that rock climbing has many benefits for children including the development teamworking skills, increased self-confidence and trust, better motivation and improved levels of fitness. It also teaches children to cope with fear and stress in a positive manner.
Sessions will run on Saturday mornings from 9.15 to 10am and are booked by term (2014 Spring and Summer dates now available). The cost is £90 per term (10 weeks) and our usual terms and conditions apply. To make a booking please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
2014 term dates:
Spring part 1: 11 January to 8 February Spring part 2: 1 March to 29 March Spring enrolment deadline: 8 January 2014 (late entries will be accepted)
Summer part 1: 26 April to 17 May Summer part 2: 7 June to 19 July Summer enrolment deadline: 4 April 2014
