	Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) The representative body of professionally qualified mountaineering instructors in the British Isles.
	British Mountaineering Council (BMC) The British Mountaineering Council is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hillwalkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers.
	British Mountain Guides Website Contains a complete list of this professional body's membership including websites (140 Guides). It also details the long and rigorous training you must undergo to hold the coveted UIAGM carnet.
	The Access and Conservation Trust (ACT) A charitable trust whom The Castle regularly supports. It aims to promote sustainable access to cliffs, mountains and open countryside by facilitating education and conservation projects.
	Mountain Leader Training England (MLTE) Nationally recognised training and assessment schemes for group leaders participating in mountain walking and single pitch rock climbing (includes info on SPA and MLA).
