For people with a desire to learn to climb or those who
wish to improve their climbing, but do not have the time available to attend our programmed courses, a private session with an instructor may be for you.

These sessions are designed with maximum flexibility to meet your requirements and the time you have available. The content  will be tailored to your specific needs; whether that is just getting started, learning more advanced techniques, improving your ropework or learning to become a more confident and able abseiler.

It may also be that group learning doesn't work specifically for you and that you (and maybe a friend) would feel more confident learning in a one-to-one situation.

For guidance we have streamlined the private sessions into the following categories, (although each session is run exactly as you want it):

Personal Tuition: A private session focusing on climbing instruction. The session is tailored to what you want to learn and can be run for just one person or in small groups. This could be a one-off session or a series of sessions. (Please note it will take longer than just one hour for beginners to learn to climb).

Personal Coaching: Ongoing sessions in which a personalised training plan is developed for you. There is a longer-term relationship with the instructor to see how the training plan is working out for you.  

Personal Training: A one-off session with an instructor. A hybrid between coaching and tuition except that it doesn’t involve any instruction. It may be helpful to have an experienced instructor work with you on specific techniques to help you improve your climbing.

Prices

£44/hr for one person; £66/hr for two people; £88/hr for three people.
