Geckos and N4 Climbing climbers!

Have you thought about joining the Comp Squad? Would you like to know what it takes to wear the uniform of the team?

We have prepared a fun, challenging and exciting day for you! Our Comp Squad invites you to join them on their Open Day.

On this sample training session, The coaches will guide you through a regular session for the Comp Squad. You will also have the opportunity to climb with our athletes, who are happy to share their experiences with you and demonstrate the routes/problems you are going to climb.The session includes a break where we will be watching a climbing film (you are welcome to bring snacks to share with others)!

You don’t need to have the skills of a monkey to enjoy the Open Day. All you need is the enthusiasm and true commitment to improve your climbing. In other words, you are passionate about climbing and all you want is to get better on every session.

The Open Day will also provide you with information about the selection process for next season (2012-2013).

Young people between 10-16 are welcome to participate on the Open Day. It is advisable (but not a prerequisite) to know how to tie in and belay safely (equivalent to a NICAS Level 2 or above). You don’t need to be a lead climber to take part on this session.

Spaces are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
