The mezzanine floor was built in 2005 and has five very different bouldering areas requiring all types of climbing techniques to master the problems. The traverse wall and our two free standing boulders, Lust & Envy provide plenty of traversing problems. The Catacomb demands strong arms and stamina to monkey across its 10 meter roof.
The lower level part of the mezzanine is home to the delicate and balancey Slab, which includes a top out boulder area, and the Mezz. With its overhanging prow and steep walls (up to 45 degrees), The Mezz has played host to many a nail-biting bouldering comp final.
Also on this level are the men’s changing rooms, two training rooms which can be hired for meetings and events, and a stretching area.
Something for everyone here with a mix of top ropes, lead lines and bouldering
