Fun and informal after-school, forest school-type sessions run in the Castle garden for 7-13 year olds.
Kids will be invited to get involved with lots of fun activites to get them excited about the outdoors; they will learn about natural habitats and how to look after themselves in the wild, whilst having loads of fun and laughs.
The structure of each session follows a natural rhythm that incorporates:
sharing and listening as a group;
playing and making up games that hone our animal senses;
themed focussed activities such as foraging, bushcraft, journalling and craft-making;
learning through free play- making, building, imagining, observing and discovering the wonders of nature.
All leaders are DBS checked and first aid trained.
